Chip + Eve

Chip + Eve were such a sweet couple to work with!  Very laid back, loving friends for days, and an unspoken connection most would envy.  Eve's boss rents a beautiful VRBO property in Bracey, VA - equipped with a small pond, cemetery, and spacious land - and was gracious enough to offer it up for the wedding day.

While y'all know VA is RIGHT here at us, it was still nice to 'get away' for a few days.  We drove up to Bracey for their rehearsal that Friday and truly enjoyed meeting this friendly group.  This gave us a chance to meet these lively characters and offer a few suggestions for a different onsite ceremony location and table setup for their alcohol and bar.  

We were blown away the day of the wedding as friends and family all pitched in to help the lovely couple and wedding site get ready.  Eve put extra effort into adding all sorts of personal details to their beautiful day from DIY centerpieces to vintage plates she'd been purchasing for months.  They even made sure the Marines made it into their cake cutting (see for yourself below!).  Chip enjoyed a personal moment while dancing with Eve's mother when all of the ladies at the wedding joined them on the dance floor to show their love and support for him (in lieu of his mother being unable to attend).  Yes, we all teared up a bit.

We were honored to be a part of this sweet day, thankful for the tent that shielded us from the November chill, and stuffed after enjoying some delicious BBQ.
